Powerplant

The Power Plant you see here was built in 1948, and completed in 1950. When it was first built, it burned coal for fuel that was delivered by rail. Later, it was converted to the use of fuel oil, and then in 1973 to burn gas. This power plant location was built to replace the original Powerhouse, which was located directly behind the chapel.

On a white post, you'll find more historical information.
