"Meet the Artist" Reception @ G50
Gallery Fifty will be hosting a Reception for featured artist, Duncan Sprattmoran. Sprattmoran paints predominantly landscapes in watercolor, aqueous media and acrylic. Interested in the interrelationship between the human and the natural worlds, his work tends toward a regionalist celebration of Northern Michigan -- its lakes, orchards and farms. Considering the way the landscape shapes us and the way we shape the landscape, his paintings map a response to the seasons and the seasoning of indigenous architecture as it changes over time. galleryfifty.com 932.0775
